Lapstone was the third wedding venue we viewed and the feeling when we walked into the stone barn was one we will never forget!The venue is stunning in every way and we will never have enough words to thank the staff at Lapstone for making our day unforgettable. From the planning process to the big day itself, their professionalism, attention to detail and warmth made all the difference.Mylie our wedding coordinator was excellent at answering all our questions and nothing was ever too much for her to ensure everything was how we wanted it. When we saw the venue set up on the day it was everything we had dreamed of and more.The catering team were fabulous especially Helen and Toby who couldn't do enough to ensure the wedding breakfast and evening events ran smoothly. Our guests commented on how friendly and polite all the staff were.Thank you
As soon as we entered the stone barn on our first visit, I knew it was where we would be getting married. It was the first place we viewed and everywhere else that day paled in comparison.The staff were all fantastic and really accommodating. Everything you can throw at them is something they’ve seen before and they just made the whole planning process really easy. For example, our string quartet wanted overhead cover and Lapstone gave us two solutions to pick from. Mylie, our coordinator, even called the string quartet for us to make the arrangements.The food is also fantastic, which was really important for us!I am so glad we chose Lapstone. It was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. I hope to be able to return to stay again one day.
Lovely wedding venue. Level access everywhere and an accessible toilet.I stayed overnight in an accessible room. No emergency cords in the room but otherwise everything was fine.
The most perfect venue from our first visit to communication after our wedding day. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. We had a lot of children attend our wedding and found the courtyard to be such a safe space for young ones. The Stone Barn is breath-takingly beautiful and the Northwick Barn is a lovely place to have your wedding breakfast as full of natural light. Our guests have commented on the quality of the food and portion sizes and were definitely impressed. I can't thank Emily and the staff at Lapstone enough they took the stress out of the day which meant we could enjoy the day and not worry about setting up.Thank you to all the staff at Lapstone Barn
An unbelievable wedding venue that has it all. We had the most incredible experience with Lapstone from start to honeymoon. Our wedding organiser Katherine was thorough and helpful and supportive in the lead up with no question too small. On the day Katherine and the team were outstanding, they made sure everything ran smoothly and brought the magic to our day. Would recommend this venue to any future bride, it’s perfect.
I can't stand cheese, Becky went well out of her way to ensure I could join in with my own cheeseless stone fired pizza during a friends wedding in August. Excellent.
I photographed a wedding here last weekend and it was so nice. The staff are super friendly and the coordinators are really on it.The ceremony room provides a decent amount of light and the venue ALLOWS DOGS!The setting of the venue is nice a quiet, easy to get to and has great views with some nearby fields which are great for couples portraits in the warmer months!
WOW! Honestly cannot fault Lapstone Barn and all of their wonderful staff. From the moment we viewed the venue, the team were professional and attentive. The barn ticked all of our boxes from having a wonderful flow, stunning landscapes and each space fits perfectly with what it’s used for whether that be the ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast. The food was delicious and on the day, the staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests were well looked after. Honestly had the best day ever and had lots of positive feedback from our guests too! Thank you guys!
We had the most amazing day getting married at Lapstone Barn and it was all thanks to the team that work there - particularly Mylie, our wedding planner. She planned and organised the day seamlessly and brought our visions to life. We cannot thank her, and the team enough! An amazing group of people that add to the beautiful barn and location.Not only are the planning team great, but the caterers are also; producing excellent food and service. So many of our guests commented on how nice the food was. Lapstone Barn is the perfect wedding venue! The grounds are absolutely stunning, and luckily our wedding took place on a sunny day so we were able to make the most of everything Lapstone has to offer.As well as being a gorgeous venue, the staff at Lapstone were faultless and really went above and beyond to make our day as wonderful as it was. Mylie, our wedding co-ordinator, was incredibly kind and helpful in the lead up to the wedding. We knew we were in safe hands from the get go, and were blown away by how brilliant she was on the day. Her calming presence and organisation were second to none, and the day wouldn't have been what it was without her! Mylie even popped out to buy some formula milk for one of our guests' newborn baby!Helen from the front of house team was also fantastic! We had quite a few dietary requirements, and Helen ensured these were all catered for and guests felt comfortable. She was extremely attentive and ensured Andrew and I were happy throughout the meal. The most perfect wedding venue anyone could ask for. We recently got married on Friday, 11th July 2025 and I cannot recommend this venue enough. If you're thinking about booking this venue, just do it. I promise you will not regret it.The team are just the most amazing people you could ever want on your big day. They are all there for you and are the most incredible bunch you could ask for. From the planners (we had Emily who was just the calming presence you need and who was effortlessly on top of everything) to the catering team, to the bar staff. Just the most incredible people and we cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our day special.The venue itself is the perfect set up, with a seamless flow throughout the building. We were able to utilise the entire space to create the perfect experience for us and our guests and it created so many opportunities for photos both for us and our guests. Everywhere you look is just a picture perfect moment for a Cotswolds wedding.The food was exquisite, with so many different options to choose from to suit whatever type of wedding you want. We went for the BBQ option, which was luckily as it was 30 degrees on the day, and we had nothing but positive reviews from all of our guests. We also had a number of dietary requirements which was not an issue in the slightest and they had alternatives for every options.The accommodation is perfect. We stayed in the new stables suits which were all stunning and we had friends stay in the farmhouse and cottage which just worked so perfectly for the day.Overall, I could not have been happier with having our wedding at Lapstone, and I really cannot recommend this amazing venue enough. The only word to describe it is perfection.
Lapstone Barn was the perfect Cotswold venue for us! Gorgeous venue with amazing views. It provides the best of both worlds, with the traditional barn and then the modern barn with a gorgeous courtyard. It has a great flow of rooms which we felt was important especially with nearly 150 guests in the evening. The food was delicious and they gave you plenty of it which was brilliant. The staff, particularly our coordinator, Emily, were friendly, very helpful, and clearly enjoyed their job. They were open to small changes to make our wedding day more personal to us and we are very grateful for that. The staff could not have been more attentive and are a serious selling point for Lapstone Barn. We had the most wonderful day with no stresses, which was down to Lapstone Barn and the team!
We recently had our wedding at Lapstone on 09.06.2025 and it was an absolutely incredible day from start to finish.The planning process with our coordinator Mylie was seamless, she thought of everything and ensured we had all the information we required regarding our wedding day. Thank you Mylie.The food tasting evening was phenomenal, and made us so excited for the food on the day, which I have to say is one of the highlights. There is no doubt that Lapstone pride on having the best quality food, local to the area, and we had nothing but compliments from all our guests even weeks later!All the staff were wonderful, kind and very professional, and clearly cared about making sure you and all the guests have an amazing time.The grounds are stunning, and staff managed to facilitate multiple visits before our wedding with ease, we really were made to feel incredibly special.The accommodation was amazing, especially the newly built stables! The cottage (roughly a 5 minute walk away) is also gorgeous, but to bear in mind it is not necessarily accessible for disabled people. The farmhouse decorated beautifully, but did lack wardrobe space (or any hanging hooks for dresses) for guests. I think this does need to be added considering people staying here are attending a wedding and will need to hang dresses/suits up.We did have an issue with hot water in the farmhouse on the morning of, but was quickly resolved.After the wedding, I did feel there was a rush to get your stuff and get out. Not that I expected everything to be packed away, but it just felt disjointed and awkward going in and out of the venue with staff asking who I was and why I was there.All in all our wedding day was incredible, and we are so happy with how we were treated and taken care of overall at Lapstone Barn. I would book it all again in a heart beat. Thank you!
Lapstone is absolutely perfect. The location is stunning and the building and set up is beautiful. We only looked at 3 venues because as soon as we found Lapstone we just knew it was our dream venue so booked straight away.I just want to say thank you so much to all the staff and especially thank you to Kate our designated co-ordinator for making our vision come to life & was so friendly & comforting throughout. You seamlessly co-ordinated the day and our guests all said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too!The waiting staff just couldn’t do enough and were so attentive. We couldn’t believe the amount of alcohol included in the drinks package and the size of the food portions! The photographer even said the food was the best wedding food he has ever had!We truly had the best day of our lives. I am so grateful we found Lapstone and will cherish the memories forever. We would love to return in the future for ‘Supper Club’ or to stay in the Cottage again. So stunning waking up to the hares and pheasants roaming around in the garden.Thank you so much!
My husband and I visited Lapstone Barn in April 2024 and booked our wedding here for May 2025. From start to finish, Lapstone Barn was the most incredible venue to plan and host our special day.What drew us to this venue was its ideal and stunning location, range of spaces to socialise in, the friendliness of the team, the catering and on-site accommodation. As soon as we arrived at Lapstone Barn we were struck by how peaceful and idyllic the setting was, and knew this would be the perfect location for our wedding with lots of stunning photo opportunities. We also loved the range of spaces available to host different parts of the day - one thing our guests commented on is how much they loved having different areas to sit and socialise in, both inside and outside, which meant there was something to appeal to everyone. Our guests also raved about the delicious food at our wedding - canapes, main meal and evening pizzas - with many saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!Finally, the team at Lapstone Barn were so amazing to work with and we cannot thank them enough for ensuring the smooth running of our special day. Our wedding coordinator was Mylie, who took all the stress out of the wedding organisation and was on hand throughout the day to make sure everything went as planned. Clare took over for the evening reception and regularly checked in with us and our guests while ensuring everyone had what they needed for the cake cutting and evening dance. We had our wedding here in March 2025 having booked way back in summer 2023. We were so happy with our choice of venue, from the stunning barn to the accommodation too!Kate, our coordinator, was just amazing. In all our pre-wedding catch ups to the day itself - nothing was too much to ask and she just has the most calm nature about her (which is exactly what you need). The rest of the team on the day were great too, including all the waiting staff - very attentive! Clare and the evening staff were fantastic as well!The food - just amazing! The canapés were so good, and it was really nice to have a tray brought to us as the bride and groom. We've had a number of guests tell us its the best food they've ever had at a wedding which was great to hear. Sadly, as is often the way, I didn't get to have any evening food on the day but was pleasantly surprised the next day when there had been some pizzas saved for us so we go to enjoy these the day after. There was also some of the table wine left which we were given in the morning which we were very grateful for as not all venues do this!The accommodation - we were fortunate enough to be able to stay on site the night before too, which made getting ready the next morning so easy. We had a lot of overseas guests so it was really nice to be able to offer them the rooms on site. I know there were a couple of small issues here and there but nothing that wasn't resolved quickly! The Bridal Suite was so lovely and so handy being right across from the main venue!Overall, Lapstone Barn was the perfect venue for us - it was a very special day which we will never forget. We had the most incredible wedding at Lapstone Barn. The whole day felt like magic from start to finish and everything was so seamless. Everything flowed so well on the day and it felt like Mylie allowed us enough time to spend with each other whilst also keeping us on track with timings! The entire experience in the lead up to the wedding was also super enjoyable, including visiting the venue with our parents, meetings with Mylie and food tasting. My husband and I got married here May 2025. We traveled from the US for our wedding. We could not believe how easy it was to plan this wedding from abroad. Our wedding coordinator, Emily, was absolutely fabulous and included with the venue! We utilized their preferred vendors, which were all also amazing and highly recommend utilizing this list. We had the traditional roast for food, and it was the best wedding food we have ever had, honestly the best roast we have had! The late night food was even delicious! The staff all throughout the night and leading up to the event were exceptional. Honestly, we cannot recommend them enough and wish we could host another wedding there and would do so in a heartbeat!! The onsite accommodation was also fabulous!
Absolutely incredible for a wedding venue ❤️From the moment we first visited, we knew it was perfect for us. It had everything we'd been looking for: A modern barn conversion feel, onsite accommodation, a generous getting ready room, a fire pit, a nice cosy bar area, great food and the perfect room for our 60 guests.We can't fault the staff either. Absolutely perfect service from our wedding coordinator Emily who was so organised and calming on the day. Everything was perfect. We also loved our stay in the onsite accommodation.The service from the whole team was impeccable. Our guests kept commenting how well run the food service was and how accommodating and professional the staff were. Literally nothing was too much trouble.We truly managed to have the day we wanted and we just wish we could do it all again. Thanks to Emily and the team ❤️

The bridal party stayed in the Cottage the night before and waking up to all the wildlife was so calming and special.Emily was our coordinator and she was just a dream. She was so friendly and warm, in the lead up to the wedding her communication was great and she was always quick at replying. She was also great at helping with decisions and sharing ideas for the day. She was so calm and reassuring but also matched our excitement!All of the staff at Lapstone were fantastic including all the serving and bar staff, I didn’t come across one person who didn’t look genuinely happy to be there.Thank you to the Lapstone team for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives.
My husband and I had our wedding reception at Lapstone Barn in April 2025, we had the most incredible day! Our wedding coordinator Emily was so organised, friendly and quick to reply and give helpful advice. She did an amazing job at making sure everything went smoothly and seamlessly throughout the day, she reduced my stress infinitely! The location and the barn itself are stunning, I genuinely couldn't fault it! The accomodation at the barn, though a little pricey, was also very helpful to have for guests and the cottage and farmhouse were picture perfect. Waking up the day after to a field of hares and deer felt like a wonderland! Would 100% recommend as a wedding venue, I'm so happy we chose it!
A lovely place to have your wedding. Our day here in April was fantastic, the staff are attentive on the day and work well with vendors recommended or not. The food is unbelievable, we had the Chicken Roast Dinner and the quantity was also excellent!
Lapstone Barn went above and beyond from day one to make our day as special as it was. Every single staff member working there is amazing, so attentive, friendly and just clearly love their jobs.Kat was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely phenomenal, we live in Australia and that didn’t stop her helping us create our dream day, she spent time getting to know us as a couple with a long Skype call and then from that gave us advice on things we weren’t sure on, and nailed them all. We can’t thank her enough, for her kindness, thoughtfulness and all round perfectionist throughout the planning and the day. Helen was our front of house in the evening, and she was equally outstanding and thoughtful. She was on top of everything.Lapstone’s grounds are in pristine condition, and all our guests said what a beautiful venue it was. We were also so grateful how there were no hidden costs and no one trying to make us spend more money than our budget. Lapstone barn was a big part in making our wedding day so beautifully perfect, we can’t thank everyone enough.
Fantastic venue for our Daughter’s recent Wedding,set in a beautiful location in Glorious Chipping Camden.The Staff who looked after us throughout the day were superb, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.The food was superb and cooked to perfection and the bar was well stocked with a good variety of drinks.A huge thank you to our Wedding Co-ordinator Miley who looked after us throughout the day and ensured everything ran smoothly.We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for somewhere to book for a Wedding venue and stay in the many rooms available in the separate Cottages, etc.Thank you once again for making this a memorable day for all of us.
Attended a wedding at the venue on Easter Saturday. The barn and its surrounding were beautiful, and the food second to none -delicious! It was all the more special for being dog friendly meaning we could have our little dog with us!The new accommodation on site was a lovely addition as it wasn’t there when we booked! Lapstone is amazing and they gave us a wonderful day, it was just the aftermath which wasn’t quite what we expected.The venue is beautiful, we fell in love with it the moment we saw it! Our coordinator Abi was lovely, had great advice and was so patient with us throughout. Most of the planning process was fantastic and proceeded so smoothly. There were a couple of times where we felt they weren’t being quite as flexible as promised, but all worked out well in the end and they gave us everything we envisaged. The set up (we had A LOT of extra decor!) was chaos but manager Agi was fabulous, carrying on the next day and helping the Groomsmen get ready. Overall, they were great and the whole run up to the day was brilliant.The day itself went very smoothly, and most things were done as expected. We were able to relax as they guided us through it. The food (canapés/ wedding breakfast/ evening food) was amazing and far superior to what we expected and most other weddings we’ve attended. Our guests have since given us fantastic feedback; we can be very satisfied that they left very well fed! You can tell the venue prioritise fresh, quality offerings as we turned away from the tasty canapes to take another photo and turned back to find them gone! The waiting staff were all so lovely, engaging with us and making sure any extra food went to the Groom! In fact, the staff in general were all fantastic and very helpful.The day sailed by wonderfully, but it did unfortunately end on a slightly sour note.A few mix ups were apologised for and compensation provided. It was a shame there was no one around to oversee the get out the next morning. We had to search ourselves for bin bags and extra items of ours left in their stores. We didn’t expect staff to get stuck in, just perhaps give a little more guidance. Belongings left in the Hayloft (fair enough, there was a lot!) we found had been moved downstairs for us, which was helpful but could have been done in perhaps a slightly more delicate manner. One of the cleaners coming to clean the Farmhouse at 11am was incredibly rude. Fair enough, we were late vacating the property, but I don’t think that quite warrants being sworn at. But we were most disappointed to find our leftover cake had been thrown away. We didn’t think to specify for any leftover cake to be saved as we had no clue this would be a specific request. It appears unfortunately it’s not something they do (health & safety etc). The day after a wedding is always sad but we could have done with just a touch more in the way of after-care.In the months after the wedding there were some invoicing errors which required a bit of back and forth. When all has appeared correct, and you’ve paid them what was asked, it’s all a bit confusing and frustrating! It all went on longer than it should, but the venue eventually settled accordingly and very kindly arranged for cupcakes to be delivered to make up for the lost cake, which was a really lovely touch.All in all, it was a wonderful day, I just think the venue should review their after-event practices. Of course, the wedding is the most important thing, but the aftermath did take some of the shine off at one point.For any couples getting married at Lapstone you will have the most wonderful day ❤️ just make sure you specify for leftover cake and don’t forget the bin bags!Just a couple of tips -*The ‘Hayloft’ has just one or two hook to hang dresses, so look at taking some over door hooks or a collapsible rail for the bridesmaid dresses.*We hear the Farmhouse accommodation offers nowhere to hang up clothing, or much in the way of clothing storage so, again, over door hooks!*It’s a shame they don’t provide breakfast (although the Stable rooms have croissants, which is lovely), but Abi suggested alternatives. We eventually arranged with ‘Victors’ tearoom in Chipping Campden to deliver pastries on the wedding morning – highly recommended!
Our wedding at Lapstone was absolutely perfect! I was quite stressed leading up to the day, but I really shouldn't have worried as Emily and the team took care of everything. I did all my own flowers and decorations and Emily set them all up for us exactly as I had imagined. She was so reassuring throughout the day as well because I had no idea what I was doing! It was great to have her help and support, she even put my shoes on for me when time was getting a bit tight.We had a completely vegan wedding, the food was delicious and all our guests raved about it despite none of them being vegan themselves. The menu was adapted for us with no problems at all, including the canapes and evening pizza.The accommodation was stunning, our guests loved the new stables rooms. It was so great to be staying right next door to the venue on the day. And the icing on the cake, it's completely dog friendly! Our dog had a snooze upstairs while our band were playing and then came back down to join our guests.We both just loved the barn as soon as we saw it, and we had the most amazing day there, it all went so smoothly. I have had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at Lapstone Barn and it really is perfect. The stone barn, and then the more modern barn for the reception are such lovely spaces, and the courtyard is ideal for the drinks reception hours! There is an abundance of pretty backdrops for photos, and the icing on the cake in my opinion is the stunning Manor House on site that is available for bridal prep and to stay in the night of. I can't wait to come back!
I was recently a chief bridesmaid at Lapstone barn and stayed for 2 nights at the venue in the stables. For £200 a night there was no storage for clothes and importantly for a wedding venue nowhere to hang dresses or suits which I feel for a wedding venue is a massive oversight. It was the same in the Hayloft there was 1 hook in the hayloft ( for the wedding dress) but none for the bridesmaids dresses we ended up hanging them over a door to steam the dresses and to get the picture of all the dresses hung up the bride wanted,Myself and the groom asked a member of staff when the wedding had ended if I needed to clear the hayloft before going to bed, we were told not to worry it could wait until the morning there was no rush to do so as there was no wedding the next day and we could take our time. The next morning at around 9 i came out to find the groom and all the stuff hayloft outside the bridal suite on the floor as he had been told by the morning team it needed to be emptied by the 0900 as they had viewing's, there seems to be a massive communication issue within the teams of Lapstone barn not just with this but with other issues I am aware of during the planning process.The bride and groom had request a fire pit to toast marshmallows, which I know the bride and groom love, but even they were unaware the fire had been lit only reason they knew was they were taking photos, if the bride and groom did not know how on earth were the guests to know and unfortunately it was not utilised.Lapstone barn itself is a beautiful venue and has so much potential but I feel the lack of of communication between the teams, and between them and all the people at the wedding and the lack of attention to detail really let it down.
