Agi and team were amazing from start to finish. We had the most gorgeous Christmas in the Cotswolds, the farmhouse is perfect for a family Christmas (plus 3 dogs). We would absolutely return again. Thanks so much!
Lapstone barn is a great wedding venue, the staff were friendly and helpful. The size of the rooms were just right. However the accommodation left a lot to be desired. We stayed in the farmhouse which For £200 a night for a bedroom I would expect a wardrobe or somewhere to hang clothes, the chest of drawers had drawers with no bottoms, there were no towels or places to hang them and the toilet seat would not stay up. We had to ask for the outside lights to be put on so that we could actually see to get to it. Sort of put a dampener on the whole day. Sort it out Lapstone!
The music, for want of a better description, was so loud as to cause hearing damage. This is a health and safety issue. That volume is completely unnecessary and in any event is detrimental to any other social interaction. So, for example, conversation is impossible.Certainly not at all a pleasurable experience.I couldn't wait to get out. Even then we had to run the gauntlet of that damaging noise as the only way out was past the source.
Our wedding at Lapstone was absolutely perfect! I was quite stressed leading up to the day, but I really shouldn't have worried as Emily and the team took care of everything. I did all my own flowers and decorations and Emily set them all up for us exactly as I had imagined. She was so reassuring throughout the day as well because I had no idea what I was doing! It was great to have her help and support, she even put my shoes on for me when time was getting a bit tight.We had a completely vegan wedding, the food was delicious and all our guests raved about it despite none of them being vegan themselves. The menu was adapted for us with no problems at all, including the canapes and evening pizza.The accommodation was stunning, our guests loved the new stables rooms. It was so great to be staying right next door to the venue on the day. And the icing on the cake, it's completely dog friendly! Our dog had a snooze upstairs while our band were playing and then came back down to join our guests.We both just loved the barn as soon as we saw it, and we had the most amazing day there, it all went so smoothly. Lapstone Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding. It was the best day of our lives and it wouldn't have been possible without Lapstone. The staff, particularly our coordinator Kat, were all superb through the whole process and particularly on our big day. They helped make the day relaxed and run as smooth as possible. Many of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! We are looking forward to coming back to the venue in the near future and staying in the accommodation to try relive some of that magic!

My husband and I couldn't recommend Lapstone Barn highly enough for a wedding. From our first visit through to the event itself, communication with the team was seamless. Our coordinator Emily in particular was an absolute dream and make sure our wedding day ran smoothly. The barn is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of different spaces for guests to enjoy without being too vast. All of the facilities were fantastically well equipped, including the Hayloft and Lapstone's onsite accommodation. From the canapes through to the evening, the food was all delicious, with lots of our guests complimenting it all. We also took a number of our suppliers (photographer Katie Hamilton, hair & makeup team Margot & Lace and photobooth Mad Hat) from Lapstone's recommended lists, and all were wonderful. Thank you Lapstone Barn for the best day ever!
We got married at Lapstone Barn in September 2024 and we had the most special day. The venue is beautiful and the staff are so attentive. They do make sure you have a perfect day and are very accommodating. I would highly recommend!
From when we first enquired with Lapstone Barn we were met with such professionalism, help and support. We instantly fell in love with the venue from when we saw it on the day and knew it was the one for us. Katherine was so so great and played such a big part in our day for us making sure everything we wanted and had asked for was there.We had planned for an early September wedding with a hint of autumnal in the air, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Waking up on the morning of the 6th it was so misty and instantly brought a cosy vibe, and then the sun was shining for our reception! The venue was absolutely perfect and worked so well with our 120+ guests throughout the day. All staff were so accommodating and friendly in the lead up, on the day, and after.I wish I could do it all again!!! Highly highly highly recommend for those looking for a venue in the Cotswolds. It would be perfect both in the summer, and beautiful and cosy for a winter wedding too. THANK YOU!!
Lapstone Barn was our dream wedding venue! From initial enquiry through till the day the team were amazing. Abi & Agi really cared about the finer details and made out day so special. The venue is beautiful and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Cotswolds!
After waiting 3 weeks for availability for a viewing of this venue, we were left disappointed after travelling for a two hour round trip and being rushed through the viewing which without exaggerating lasted a matter of 10 minutes. The lady showing us round couldn’t be any less interested if she tried, there are much better venues around if you ask me. Wouldn’t recommend here, certainly not within the top 10 in the Cotswolds. Total waste of time.

Lapstone Barn was such an amazing venue to host our vow renewal at. After a wedding (not at Lapstone) where we had so many issues with our wedding planner, having the staff from Lapstone was a dream come true. Kat was our day of coordinator and she was incredible - everyone we worked with was! The food and drink was amazing and it's such a gorgeous location.

Thank you so much to the team at Lapstone especially Emily our co-ordinator, for ensuring we had the most beautiful and magical day that went without a hitch! The catering team were great as I am coeliac and they accommodated by making all food gluten free. Nobody knew it was GF and we had many compliments on how great it was. The venue itself has so many beautiful locations inside and out where photos can be taken. The farmhouse and cottage were great additions, we woke up the next day to a baby deer grazing in our back garden! Thank you again for such a special day! Xxx

We knew Lapstone was the place for us as soon as we viewed it- from the venue and grounds, to the accommodation, staff and DELICIOUS food, swell as catering for all dietary requirements with no fuss. Planning from start to finish was made easy and all the staff were really friendly. Huge thank you to Emily for being so helpful throughout the planning and helping to make sure everything went so smoothly on the day. Food was delicious, better than I thought was possible for the number of people. The venue is so attractive and I would highly recommend having a look around as we knew instantly this was the place for us. Would also highly recommend staying in the cottage on site as this was lovely, we woke up to a view of the lovely garden with Pheasants wandering around and only a 2 minute walk away so was very convenient. Thank you to all the staff who contributed to making our big day so special!
Honestly cannot recommend Lapstone Barn enough! As soon as we walked in, we knew it was the wedding venue for us.The venue itself is just gorgeous, at every angle. Lapstone really needs very little décor to look absolutely stunning! Every room is beautiful, well-maintained, and homely feeling. There are so many little touches that make it feel really special. The bridal suite is stunning and a great size, with plenty of space for a group of girls getting ready! Plus, the lighting across the entire venue is fab. A lot of love and care goes into this venue, and you can tell!The Farmhouse and Cottage onsite are also incredible spaces, cosy and luxurious at the same time! We (and our guests) loved staying there; the views of the grounds are idyllic.The Lapstone staff are also 5*! Emily, our wedding coordinator, was incredible from start to finish. Very responsive on emails, always happy to help with endless questions, and so accommodating. On the day itself she was super organised, knew exactly what we wanted, and was also a comforting presence for us. The catering/bar staff were equally wonderful! Clare, who looked after us, was just lovely - so attentive and kind. Just amazing service all round. We cannot fault any of the staff. We had so many comments on how lovely they all were from our guests too! All went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time, and we are very grateful for their hard work.The food is also *incredible*. We are big foodies, and after the tasting event we knew our menu would be delicious - we looked forward to eating the meal again for months! All of our guests enjoyed the food throughout the day, and we loved hearing all the compliments on the menu choices too. The portions were also perfect, and we saw many happy faces going in for seconds with the side dishes. Drinks-wise we were over the moon too - we had a few specific requests for the daytime which were worked with wonderfully, and we loved the choices we had throughout the wedding. This was again something we had lots of lovely comments on during the day! The bar is also excellent for the evening drinks! Very classy, well-stocked, and great service.Lapstone will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much to everyone for making our wedding day so special, we deeply appreciate it <3
I always have the most amazing time photographing and videoing at Lapstone Barn. The building itself is beautifully finished to the very last detail, with lots of bright and clean spaces for bridal prep and groom prep. There is also another house on site, which is beautiful as a backdrop for group photos. They have fields all around, which are perfect for sundown shots and are sometimes filled with poppies! The staff here are always wonderful to work with and I always feel very welcome. They bend over backwards for their couples and suppliers too. I can't wait to shoot here again in the Summer!
Me & my husband recently had our wedding here. We were so pleased with the venue and all our guests were commenting how amazing it was. We had people travel from America for the wedding and they also were blown away by the venue. The service from all staff including Emily co ordinator was amazing. We can’t thank you all enough. We had our wedding at Lapstone back in October and had such a wonderful day. The venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful - the perfect blank canvas for however you want your day to look, with its own unique features which set it apart. So many of our guests were impressed with the venue, and commented particularly on how delicious the food was. With my husband being coeliac and our wedding party including quite a few different dietary requirements, we were very impressed with how effectively this was managed. We got married at Lapstone Barn just over a week ago. We had the wonderful Mylie as our wedding co-ordinator but we dealt with lots of the staff during our time there and they were all lovely! We booked our wedding in September so we didn’t have long until the big day. The team were so helpful and offered lots of great suggestions and check lists for us, it really kept us on track. The barn itself is stunning! To us it felt like home and so welcoming. My husband welcoming people to the venue on the day was so stress free and he said it was like inviting people into our home which I loved. The whole day was perfection and ran to time which doesn’t happen too often in events. We wish we could do it all again. Our guests had the best time, it really was a fairytale. What a magical day we had for our November wedding. Everything went so smoothly; the team were absolutely incredible and were busy behind the scenes making sure our day ran like clockwork. We had our wedding at Lapstone Barn back in June and I really can't recommend Lapstone enough! The day was completely perfect, the venue and outside areas are beautiful, we had so many guests comment how stunning it is, the food was all delicious but the biggest highlight for me was the staff. Abi was our wedding coordinator and she was brilliant, very organised and calm and we 100% trusted her with everything and the day ran so smoothly because of her (she even looked after our 1 year old during the ceremony). What I loved about Lapstone was how flexible they were, and how accomodating to make sure the day was personalised to us and exactly what we wanted. We were able to flex the typical food/drinks packages offered to accommodate our friends and family and we provided ale for our ale lovers and mocktails for our non drinkers rather than just the usual wine and prosecco. All in all, the best venue and we loved having our wedding here!

From last minute emails to changing dietary requirements (on the day), Agi was THE most wonderful wedding coordinator we could have ever asked for! Every single person we had contact with was truly a pleasure, we had comments all day about the wonderful venue, food, staff and atmosphere of the barn. We really would do it all over again if we could!!
We recently married at Lapstone Barn & had such an amazing wedding day. From our first visit to view the venue through to our actual wedding day everyone has been incredibly helpful & friendly. The barn itself is stunning for weddings in any season but as ours was an Autumn wedding the warm Cotswold stone & draped fairy lights produced a lovely cosy feel especially with the real fire lit in the gorgeous bar area. We stayed in the farmhouse the night before & the night of our wedding - the house is really comfortable with everything you could possibly need & is decorated & furnished beautifully. Thank you to all the staff who helped make our special day perfect.
Lapstone was the perfect venue for our recent wedding. It’s absolutely stunning yet still allows you to put your own special touches to the barn. We had the best day ever. Mylie was absolutely fantastic. So warm calm and lovely. She put us at ease and nothing was too much trouble. If any little issues arose Mylie would find the answer! The food was also incredible. The hayloft is the most beautiful room for the bridal party to get ready ahead of the big day. Lapstone has our hearts forever. Thanks guys for making our dreams come true!
